The meaning of Rotib
Rotib's words have many meanings.
Multiplication made here comes from words (rattaba) meaning approved or arranged. Rotib is something neatly arranged,
organized. Rawatib sunnah prayer is between sunnah prayers that are practiced at certain times by the Prophet Muhammad
Sollallahu alaihi Wasallam.
Ratib al-Attas contains remembrance, the verses of the Koran and prayers that have been prepared are composed by al-Habib
Umar bin Abdul Rahman al-Attas which is also read at certain times.
The term Rotib is used mostly in the land of Hadhramaut in referring to short remembrances with a small number of remembrance
(such as 3, 7.10, 11 and 40 times), like to be practiced and read at special meal times which is every time having breakfast
and once at night.
There were Ratib al-Haddad, Ratib al-Aidrus, Ratib al-Muhdhor, Rotib Assakron, Rotib Al adni, and others.
